I graduated from Eastern Nazarene College just outside of Boston with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising – a degree I used directly for about 3 years “in the real world” before realizing that photography was my true passion and moving into that full-time. I’ve been an award-winning wedding, elopement and engagement photographer for 8 years now (check out my work over at Hilary Colleen Photography) and I dabble in WordPress website customization in the off-season running Worcus.
I currently live in the southwestern countryside of New Hampshire with my crazy cat Oswald. I am all about all things music, scifi, creative and nerdy – videogaming, dancing and harmonizing are huge stress relievers for me.
In my opinion, energy and chemistry are some of the most exciting things in existence on this earth and I find that music helps me capture both in one beautiful, glorious moment. I started photographing musicians and live music while working for SoulFest, a multi-day Christian music and social justice festival taking place in the White Mountains of New Hampshire each summer.
Currently, I am on staff as the Photography Team Leader for SoulFest in which I run a team of 5-10 photographers and editors to capture the atmosphere, environment and experience of the festival to share with the world.
